The New Compass presents generous proportions at 4.55 meters in length, alongside optimized aerodynamics. Its exterior is built for purpose: key elements like cameras and radar units are now positioned higher to minimize the risk of damage during tough off-road driving, while the new functional front end enhances both protection and efficiency. A new dedicated AWD functional exterior and the addition of a rear tow hook further emphasize its adventurous spirit and readiness for any terrain.
The New Compass also benefits from new suspension tuning, developed to achieve the best possible balance between handling and comfort. They ensure a ground clearance of 200 mm, allowing the vehicle to face uneven terrains without compromising on-road composure, while vertical acceleration has been reduced by 15%, and body roll is down by 20%, ensuring a more stable drive. At the same time, the steering calibration has been refined to provide both precision and smoothness, adapting intelligently to different driving situations. This technical evolution is accompanied by enhanced noise insulation, achieved through improved materials like the new rear glass, which is now 11% thicker than before. Together, these refinements create a calm and refined cabin atmosphere, where passengers can enjoy long journeys or urban commutes in total comfort. The result is a vehicle that delivers dynamic equilibrium, combining agility with the serenity typical of premium SUVs.
On top of that, the 4xe version will bring a further step forward in performance thanks to the new rear e-motor developed exclusively for Jeep Compass, capable of delivering 132 kW and up to 3100 Nm at the wheels, ensuring outstanding traction.
Inside, the cabin has been reimagined for greater versatility and refinement. The interior space is generous, with rear passengers enjoying an extra 20 mm of legroom and cargo space expanding to up to 550 liters, which is 45 liters more than before. The total front storage reaches 34 liters, offering greater space for everyday items. The interior architecture prioritizes functionality and ease of use, featuring an intuitive physical gearbox rotary command, an electronic parking brake button and a rubberized Selec-Terrain® switch placed within easy reach, allowing seamless operation even on rough terrain.
