The all-new Opel Grandland not only shines with innovations such as the new 3D Vizor with illuminated Opel Blitz logo and illuminated OPEL wordmark at the rear as well as glare-free Intelli-Lux HD light or the practical Pixel Box for inductive smartphone charging. The ‘Golden Steering Wheel 2024’ winner4 is also the first Opel based on the BEV-native STLA Medium platform. Grandland Electric customers already have the choice of two 157 kW (213 hp) electric variants, which propel the Grandland from 0 to 100 km/h in 9 seconds and offer ranges suitable for everyday use and travelling.

With the 73 kWh battery (usable capacity), the all-electric SUV can cover up to 523 kilometres (WLTP1) between charging stops. In the Grandland Electric GS with an 82 kWh battery, the range increases to up to 582 kilometres (WLTP1). And soon, the 97 kWh battery will even be able to cover up to around 700 kilometres (WLTP1) with zero local emissions. If the Grandland needs to be recharged, it takes less than 30 minutes to charge to 80 per cent of the battery capacity with a charging capacity of up to 160 kW at a public fast charging station.

If customers want to drive a stylish and individual, yet more compact SUV in the city and beyond, they can order the new Opel Mokka Electric with a 115 kW (156 hp) electric motor. Thanks to efficient packaging, the engineers were able to ensure an exemplary range with a compact size of the 54 kWh battery. This means that up to 403 kilometres (WLTP1) can be covered locally emissions-free. The space-saving underfloor location of the battery enables a low centre of gravity and ensures that the new Mokka Electric stands confidently on the road. And with 260 Newton meters of torque available immediately, the battery electric car provides quick acceleration from a standing start and plenty of driving pleasure.

At the same time, the new Mokka Electric comes with state-of-the-art infotainment. The further developed bestseller already offers a 10-inch digital driver information display and an equally large colour touchscreen as standard. If the new Mokka has integrated navigation, map updates are loaded into the system over the air. As in the Grandland, the system can now learn and independently suggest destinations and route guidance based on the habits of the linked driver profile thanks to ChatGPT5 (available with Connected Navigation).

The new Opel Frontera not only stands out as an exceptional and flexible SUV with its robust design and numerous practical solutions in the interior. The family-friendly newcomer also makes everyday driving and holiday trips a pleasure thanks to its drivetrains. In line with Opel’s ‘Greenovation’ approach, every Frontera is electrified. Customers who want to travel locally emissions-free can already order the battery-electric Frontera Electric with 83 kW (113 hp) and 44 kWh (usable) battery and drive up to 305 kilometres (according to WLTP1) without charging stop. As a ‘long-range’ version, the new Frontera Electric will soon be able to travel up to around 400 kilometres (preliminary range according to WLTP1) between charges.

Electric All In2: Enjoying relaxing road trips with the new all-electric Opel SUVs

But the new Grandland Electric, Mokka Electric and Frontera Electric are not only easy to drive and charge. Opel is making electric mobility simple and affordable for customers – starting with the vehicle purchase. Customers who buy a battery-electric Opel passenger car will now receive numerous services on top. ‘Electric All In’2 is the name of the formula that makes the switch to electromobility child’s play and everyday motoring more pleasant. The offer includes services such as an eProWallbox Move for quick charging at home, Opel Connect PLUS pack6 and eight years of mobile charging assistance and roadside assistance7 as well as battery guarantee.

The best of two worlds: Grandland, Frontera and Mokka as 48-volt hybrids

Customers who prefer driving electrified and saving fuel without having to change driving and operating habits or having to connect the car to a charging point, can choose the hybrid variants with 48-volt system. The clever, cost efficient and compact 48-volt hybrid technology of the Grandland Hybrid, Frontera Hybrid and Mokka Hybrid offers many advantages in everyday use. The drivetrain includes a lithium-ion battery that charges automatically under certain driving conditions, as well as a 100 kW (136 hp) turbocharged 1.2-litre petrol engine (Frontera Hybrid additionally with 74 kW (100 hp) available). The three-cylinder engine was developed specifically for hybrid use and comes in combination with an electrified six-speed dual-clutch transmission and a 21 kW (28 hp) electric motor.

The technology is especially effective in city traffic. The electric drive supports the petrol engine when accelerating and starting from a standstill. The electric motor contributes torque, especially at low engine speeds, which benefits driving dynamics and CO2 savings. At low speeds, the electric motor also enables all-electric travel for up to one kilometre or up to 50 per cent of the time driven in the city. When the Grandland, Frontera or Mokka Hybrid slow down at higher speeds, the petrol engine switches off while the electric motor acts as a generator to recharge the 48-volt battery of the hybrid system. The optimally coordinated system is designed to always provide the best performance with the lowest energy consumption.

And customers looking for a third electrified drive variant will find what they are looking for in the new top-of-the-line Grandland SUV. The new Grandland plug-in hybrid offers a locally emissions-free range of up to 87 kilometres (WLTP1). With a system output of 143 kW (195 hp) and 350 Nm of maximum torque in combination with the electrified seven-speed dual clutch transmission, a lot of driving pleasure is guaranteed. The front-wheel drive car sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.8 seconds; A top speed of 220 km/h is possible.
