The European automotive market continued its positive momentum in the first half of 2026, and Stellantis also delivered growth, increasing registrations by 3.8% compared with 2025.

As highlighted by Emanuele Cappellano, COO of Enlarged Europe:
“During the first six months of 2026, we confirmed the positive momentum that Stellantis began to demonstrate toward the end of last year. In line with the objectives set out in our FaSTLAne 2030 strategic plan, we consolidated our leadership in the A and B segments across the EU30 market, where our registrations have increased by 67,000 units year-on-year, rising to 93,000 units when Leapmotor sales are included. Similarly, the Stellantis Pro One family remains firmly at the top of the podium in the highly competitive light commercial vehicle market.”
In Italy, Stellantis is No. 1 and increased its sales by 4.5% in the first half of the year and five out of the six best-selling vehicles in the market were Stellantis models, with Fiat Pandina at the top. To be underlined that Leapmotor was the leading brand in the BEV segment.
In France, Stellantis was the market leader in the first half, achieving a 28.8% market share and placing four models among the country’s top ten best-sellers, including the Peugeot 208, the overall market leader.
In Germany, against a generally positive market backdrop, Opel delivered a particularly strong performance, with passenger car sales up 14.5%, while the Opel Corsa remained the leading model in the city car segment.
