Automechanika Dubai, the largest international trade show for the automotive aftermarket industry in the MEA region, celebrated its 20th-anniversary edition with unprecedented success, cementing its position as a global hub for professionals in the sector. In its 20th edition, Automechanika Dubai expanded its reach, occupying 14 halls and hosting an impressive 1,938 exhibitors representing 61 countries. The event’s international representation was further emphasized with the inclusion of 20 international pavilions, underscoring its global significance as a meeting point for the automotive aftermarket industry.
Exhibitors expressed satisfaction as well, with 88% planning to return
Automechanika Dubai 2023 attracted 52,469 visitors from 156 countries, showcasing a diverse audience from various business sectors. Wholesalers, Import/Export professionals, Distributors, Manufacturers, Retailers, Service Providers, and others comprised the majority of visitors.
The top 10 visiting countries included Saudi Arabia, India, Iran, Iraq, China, Egypt, Türkiye, Pakistan, Russia, and Oman. Visitors represented a spectrum of job functions, with Business Development/Sales, Senior Management (MD/CEO), and Procurement/Purchasing being the leading roles.
Surveys indicated high satisfaction levels, with 98% of visitors successfully achieving their goals at the event, 82% connecting with new suppliers, and 95% planning to return for the next edition. Exhibitors expressed satisfaction as well, with 88% planning to return, 83% satisfied with connecting with their target audience, and 76% pleased with the decision-making authority of visitors.
“Looking for new suppliers”
In-depth feedback from the visitor survey revealed that 98% of visitors successfully achieved their objectives at Automechanika Dubai 2023. Among the visitors, 82% successfully connected with new suppliers, highlighting the event’s efficacy as a networking platform.
Notably, 95% of the visitors expressed their intention to return for the next edition, showcasing a high level of satisfaction and loyalty among the event’s audience. The primary reason cited for attending future editions was “looking for new suppliers,” emphasizing the event’s crucial role in facilitating business partnerships and collaborations.

Impressively, 83% of exhibitors expressed satisfaction with successfully connecting with their target audience, indicating the event’s effectiveness in providing a platform for exhibitors to engage with their desired demographic.
Moreover, 76% of exhibitors conveyed contentment with the decision-making authority of the event’s visitors. This indicates that exhibitors found the visitors to possess the necessary authority to make business decisions, contributing to meaningful interactions and potential collaborations.
